All About Food In Penang

Seriously its a heaven for eaters...

Penang is in fact the heaven for food lovers throughout the country...its a paradise of food...basically what one can do in Penang mostly revolves around food...the foodies galore...delightful...hehehe...

Everyone have their own favorite food or food joints in Penang...but here is my list of the ones that shouldn't be missed out from the eating itinerary in Penang...

Nasi Kandar Line Clear - its in one of the most strategically located area...Penang Road...for some people...i don't think they will enjoy eating here as the place is kinda in a compromising area whether it is clean enough or not...but the thing is...just shut one eye...and enjoy it...

Laksa Pokok Janggus - its a bit far from the town...its on the other side of the island...Balik Pulau to be exact...but its a must try...my family have a nickname for this particular food joint...which i don't think is suitable to be revealed...hahaha...

Char Koay Teow Longkang - its near the industrial area...near Sunshine Bayan Baru...its the name that we all had been using since our varsity days...i don't know whether its the real name...but its kinda popular...

Ikan Bakar Hammer Bay - its in the radius of Queensbay Mall...very the famous...with a good price tag...not that expensive...neither it is cheap...but affordable...with a great view of Penang Bridge while having your meal...

Mee Goreng Mamak Jalan Bangkok - its in Pulau Tikus which is not an island...at all...despite the name...always been famous with the locals since like forever...if i am not mistaken its already the second generation that took up the stall...

US Pizza - its in Green Lane...and yeah its not exactly Malaysian food...but this pizza joint only exist in Penang...and they serve unbelievably tasty pizza...worth the try...

Mee Udang Sungai Dua - its in Sungai Dua mainland (there's another Sungai Dua on the island)...its serve one of the best mee udang one can find...

Mee Ketam Juru - its in Juru...also in the mainland...have to go there before Maghrib otherwise you'll miss out lots of things...seriously worth every cents...

Pasembur Gurney Drive - its in the most happening area in Penang...the Gurney Drive...near the Gurney Plaza...its in the food court...one of my personal favorite...lots of it because of its gravy...demmm nice weih...

Char Koay Teow Tokong Ular - its in the industrial area in Bayan Baru...never had bad complaints...always nice...

There's more than the list up here...but these are the ones that managed to make it into my list...seriously not to be missed...some people might include Nasi Kandar Beratur which doesn't suit my taste that much...or the seafood in Teluk Tempoyak...which also not really to my liking...but its up to individual lah...

Owh...food are not the only thing to be done in Penang...one should just rent a car and drive up around the island...using the coastal roads...it has breathtaking view...especially along the Feringghi road...by the seaside...take up the train up to Bendera Hill...or make that one day trip to Pulau Jerejak...actually there's more thing that can be done in Penang...but in the end...when it comes to me...its all about food in Penang...
