Alexandria Gone In A Split Second
Its a bit funny and yet frustrating to actually think about this...but there must be a reason behind reason as why i didn't managed...
Anyway...to start it off...two days ago a friend called me and told me that Qatar Airways will stop their flights to Malaysia...the final flight was 31 March 2012...errrr...i was not convinced...there must be a system error...so to prove him wrong...i just browse the website and find out that QA is still very much going to be in service to Malaysia...also for that split second...i also come across something interesting...
Flights from KL to Alexandria...from RM2,434...Business Class...OMG!!! i thought that it might be some mistake...so i venture a lil bit more and start searching for the dates that available...i specifically search for the dates during my birthday (my first initial dates for NZ plan)...departing 6 June 2012...return 17 June 2012...total price...RM2,514...outbound flight is Business Class and the returning was First Class...i was rendered speechless...
Coincidentally my bosses are out of the country attending meeting and only will be back today...so yesterday i already planned everything...including the provisional dates that also has the same price...on top of that...i already planned out my route for the rest of the journey...from Alexandria fly to Amman...then go to Petra and Dead Sea...then fly off to Dubai/ Abu Dhabi...from then on fly back to Cairo and go for those Pyramids in Giza...then take train from Cairo back to Alexandria...spend a few days before going back to KL...i even came up with the budget...the hotels where i am going to stay...the connecting flights...and also the total budget for the whole trip...everything was done...i just want to ask permission from my boss...if granted i will directly buy the ticket and go on with the provisional plan...
Actually i can just very well ask for the permission from my boss over the phone...but i don't think it will be appropriate...so i just hold on and wait for my boss to come back from the meeting...early this morning...i check the website again...and to my surprise...the promo was no more there...there is another promo for business class to Alexandria...for the same date...but the price was RM11,514...it was RM9,000 difference with the former...wadahekkkk...and i can just feel as if all those plan went down the drain...hwaaaaa...
A lil bit disappointed...went out of mood...initially i planned to go to New Zealand for my birthday...but since Airasia will be flying no more to Christchurch...i started with back up plan...and the cost will be 3 times the original budget...since the cheapest that i can get is by going to Sydney via Airasia and fly to Christchurch via Virgin...so i kept that aside...since the budget came off the same with a trip to Europe...when this offer came along...i went into those dreamy hopeful mode again...eventhough its totally different from what i had planned...but its the class of the cabin with that price attracted me the most...
Now all hope was gone...seems like i just lose a golden opportunity...Alexandria which was not in my list before...suddenly went up to the top list...and now went out of the list again...its all in just a moment...that all hope is lost...Alexandria gone in a split second...huhuhu...
