Europe in My Mind - Tickets to Europe
The other day i find the connecting flights within certain countries that is in the list...this time around...just choosing the airlines with the best fare within the specified date...ermmm...not the specified date just yet as the promo are pretty much up until September or October...have to wait for another round of promo fares...but basically it can give a basic idea of how much fare difference between each airlines and what comes along with it...
Qatar Airways was quite affordable enough...among all the airlines in the market...it is probably the lowest...seriously no joking...the service is also really good...the ambience and everything is top class...its totally worth the money i might say...and some of the days they will came up with unbelieveable fares...i had witness that more than enough and each time i missed that...since i had experience flying with Qatar Airways before...it remained as my top choice...just that...i hate the long transit...especially midnite...but have to bear with it since the budget is the main agenda...hehehe...
Emirates has became more and more expensive...i noticed it since these few years...the promo are no longer as enticing as it used to be...but it does make up for the service and also the fact that its the only airlines that came in with 30kg baggage for economy class...furthermore...its easy to stopover in Dubai as now one of my really good friend is attached in Dubai for the next three years...definitely Emirates is in my list...
Etihad is the direct competition of Emirates...if Emirates hub is in Dubai...Etihad's is in Abu Dhabi...about 2 hours away by road...ermmm...but in term of the fare...Etihad is way lower and to add in the advantage...you can earn Enrich points as well...looking at the pattern of fares...its definitely among the short list in my list...hehehe...
I never flown with Air China before...but judging from their promo fares...i might do just that one of these days...for one thing...its still affordable...the only concern that i will have is on the food menu...based on a friend's experience taking a non-muslim country airlines was that when it comes to the choices food...you'll have to deal with what's offered...nothing more and nothing less...ermmm...okay fyne...keep in view...
Lufthansa definitely does not come cheap...flown with Lufthansa once from Prague to Milan last year...but never flown the long haul yet...the fare is beyond my budget by more than 50%...but still in the list...as its one of the airlines that fly direct to europe...Frankfurt to be exact...perhaps they do have transit in Bangkok...but that does depends on flight...
Oman Air does came up with some really good deals unexpectedly...i remember that they have the offer to London for RM2,500 return last year...that is considered a good deal for a full premium airlines (back then Airasia was still in service to London)...especially to London since the airport tax is quite high...definitely going to watch out for their promo from time to time then...hehehe...
KLM recent offer to Amsterdam for RM2,600 really made me itched to just buy and go......adding to the advantage...its a direct flight from Malaysia...or as the same case as Lufthansa...for some of the flights...it does make a stop in Jakarta before fly off across the continent all the way to Amsterdam...but non the less...the price is still kinda enticing...
Last but not least...Malaysia's national flag carrier...MAS...3 direct flights to Europe...namely London Paris and Frankfurt...save a lot of time...Halal food and very good i might say...very comfortable...good service...earn Enrich miles...but when it came to the fare...its not that cheap...but they do come out with good promo from time to time...surely it will always be in my list...that is if i can afford it...hehehe...
Now the first part and the second part of the dreamy eurotrip...next up will be about the accommodation...as for these airlines...its all subject to how much i can get during the MATTA Fair in September...its next month...can't wait...and i still get europe in my mind...this time around...its all about tickets to Europe...
