17 Hours in the East Coast

I bought the ticket long time ago because i promised a friend that i will visit him one fine day...it cost me about RM39 return plus tax...so why not...bought the ticket and then wait for the day to come...it was an early morning flight at 6.30 am and return at 9.40 pm...

First of all...on the day itself...i overslept...but luckily i already checked in online the day before...i was rushing like no other going to the airport...when i reached the airport...just park the car and ran to the boarding gate...and owh my...it was already closed...but then the guy at the counter call up the flight telling that i shall be running to the plane...and ran i was...like hell...it was on the other side of the airport...wadehek...but i managed to get in...the cabin crew seeing how i was panting for breath offered me a cup of warm water...then i went to sleep...hahaha...what a way to start...

Touchdown in Kota Bharu...my friend picked me up and straightaway we went to Pulau Gajah...actually his plan was to see all the fishermen went off to the sea...but i guess i was late...which was mentioned again and again...but wadehek...the plane arrived on time la...cesss...from there we went to Pasar Kubang Pasu to buy some food for our journey...

First we went to Lata Tembakah in Besut...errrr...that was about 1 hour journey...it was a waterfall...nice weih...i haven't been to waterfall for quite a while now...it was indeed a great way to start off...done with the waterfall off we went to Kuala Besut...have lunch or was it just a drink by the sea side with the view of Perhentian Islands...ermmm...just didn't have enough time to go there...maybe next time...

Next we were back on the road off to Machang...further up...can't remember the name of the place...but what i remember was we went to the longest train bridge in Malaysia...Guilemard Bridge...which was in Ulu Kusial or something...it was seriously nice...kinda remind me of Harry Potter...hahaha...i don't know why...but the view was great...love the perspective look of it...

Done that...back on the road en route to Gunung Stong State Park...we didn't actually go to the waterfall...just took picture with the view of the waterfall...hahaha...but it was great...i wish we had more time...huhuhu...then the final pit stop was in another waterfall...then off we went back to Kota Bharu airport and me off back to Putrajaya...

Overall it was a great weekend getaway day trip for me after being in and out of meetings...really need the time off from the city and meetings and just go back to nature...hehehe...i was really thankful for Abg Osaka since he was the one who done everything...as i said to him...i am a total tourist...so where ever he might bring me will be totally fine by me...and yeah...we covered like about 6 territories in less than a day...crazy...but i had fun...it really took my mind off work...i might do it again in the future...the first experience was kinda cool...gonna remember it...17 hours in the East Coast...
