Budget Travel - 4 Days 3 Nites

To tell the truth...i was really inspired by the show Destinasi Bajet that was aired in the television before...

Basically the show promotes travelling within Malaysia with the budget of RM300 for 3 days 2 nites stay in various places throughout Malaysia...the budget includes lodging/ accomodation...food...transportation...few local activities/ tourist attractions in respective place...and also some souvenier from each place...the budget excludes flight/ transportation to go to respective destination...all the travels are done individually...i kinda take the idea of the series and applied it to my own travels...i stretched the budget a bit to RM500...add in more entourage...add in the days to 4 days 3 nites...went a bit farther...it came out quite okay...here are a few examples of my 4 days 3 nites budget destination excluding the airfares...

Spent the nite in Qianmen Hostel - RM100 per room - shared 2 ~ RM50 per person

Took train from Beijing North Railway Station to Badaling Great Wall Station - RM10 one way

Had breakfast in KFC Badaling - RM30 - shared 5 ~ RM6 per person

Basically all the above are my 4 days 3 nites travel to several places that won't put a big hole in your bank account...its all goes back to one conclusion...that the number of entourage does make a difference...it can lower down the expenditure...as well as when it comes to food...but all in all...RM500 is enough to make a trip...excluding the airfare of coz...hehehe...
