Sinfully Beautiful Amsterdam

Sinfully beautiful city...

Amsterdam has impressive architecture...lovely canals going thruout the city...seriously nice...the people speak at least conversational english which kinda helpful for travellers to go there (their mother tongue is Dutch)...eventhough it was the interchange between Spring to Summer...the weather is still very much cold...especially at nite when the breeze just freeze you over...

One of the main thing that has to be done in Amsterdam was to take the canal cruise ride...the one we took was 45mins...you'll be excited for the first 15mins...then the rest of the ride was a total bore...i fell asleep while the commentator commenting about something...ZZZZZzzzz...maybe its because the boat that we took was not the open air style...otherwise...i will enjoy the breeze...hehehe...

Amsterdam was also known for its Red Light District...for those who doesn't know what it is...just google it up...surprisingly...it is considered as one of the tourist spot...beats me...when we were walking through the area...we actually blend in with this tour group consists of elderly married couples...i can't held back my smile when i remember the wives clucted their respective husbands' hands tightly when we were walking down the area...its also legal to smoke pot here...but i don't smoke pot...i just hate the smell...erkkk...

Madame Tussauds in Amsterdam was newly open back then when we were there...cool...as any other european cities...Amsterdam is one of those cities that you can just walk and walk without feeling bored or tired...coz there are always something to see around the corner...Amsterdam is also one of those cities that you can just enjoy without spending a cent...stroll along the canals...see the Begijnhof...smell the flowers at the Bloemenmarket...visit the Albert Cuypstraat market...see the Magere Brug and relax in the Vondelpark...they also have free concerts from time to time...cool huh...

Halal food is kinda easy to find...but mainly limited to mid eastern cuisine...we found lots of Indonesian restaurants near the hotel...kinda feel excited at first to finally have something that is almost equivalent to Malaysian taste...but then again...jeng jeng jeng...they serve Soy Bean Sauce Pork or 'affectionately' known as babi ketjap...urghhh...another one of my personal must do was to go to Hard Rock Cafe Amsterdam...it was kinda easy to go around the city...i like the trams...simple and easy...but i had difficulty of trying to pronounce the name of the street where our hotel was...Rembrandtplein Square...hahaha...it was hilarious...

There's a lot of things that can be said about Amsterdam...its the city rich with its own history...great architecture...also very well known for it toot toot toot activities...therefore for me it will always remain as sinfully beautiful Amsterdam...
