Kyoto Is The Anagram Of Tokyo

Anagram means a type of word play by rearranging the original letters to form another word...

Hence the anagram of Tokyo can be Kyoto...first thought when it comes to mind was that Kyoto is totally historical city equivalent to Malacca in Malaysia...how we was wrong...it nothing like Malacca...Kyoto was vastly developed...upon the first sight coming out from the train station changed all previous thoughts on how Kyoto will look like...not sure whether its a good thing or not...but it does offer a different perspective as to see how the historical thingy are integrated into the vast development of the city...

We took the one day bus pass that cost us 800 yen per person...the plan is to take on the farthest place the we de-route back to the train station...the bus ride alone was almost 30mins...the first point was the Golden Temple or locals known it as Ginkakuji Temple...the entrance fee was 400 yen...owh mai...considering the currency...owh my...just walk through the route designated...then go out...then off to the close by area where they have flea market on Saturday...it was cool enough and it was big...long stretch of people selling off new and used stuffs...its some sort of fusion between garage sale and just everyday open market...but its interesting to watch...

Nijo Castle is one of the must visit place if anyone goes to Kyoto...the entrance fee was 600 yen...owh my again...but the compound was closed to visitors by 4.00 p.m...its kinda a rush of going through the palace compound...as it is a huge complex...the extra-scorching hot sun doesn't do any help either...

Last point was Gion...the cultural street is situated somewhere here...where people can just see the famous geisha walking by...and one more thing...its interesting to see the youngsters are wearing the Japanese traditional summer clothes called Yukata...it has that kind of feeling where one goes to Jogjakarta in Indonesia and see most of the people there are wearing batik...

Each designated cultural spots are actually integrated within the modern development...for instance Nijo Castle itself was nestled in between modern buildings...its like a girl in between a group of men...its a metaphore...but it was close enough to describe it...but the great thing was...the building was still in tact...not brought down by the vast development...its kinda interesting...totally defy the intial view on Kyoto as portrayed in their postcards...one have to give credits for the photographer who took those postcard pictures for doing an amazing job...

Another thing is...summer might not be the best season to go to Kyoto...if one have seen the postcard pics...most of the pics are taken during autumn when the leaves are just of a beautiful color of orange and yellowish brown...amazing colors...or in winter where the beautiful white snows covered the roof and the leaves and everything look so pure...at least thats a personal point of view...

All in all...Kyoto is indeed a nice place to go and worth going for...but sometimes people who didn't know often going to mistakenly thought its Tokyo...as indeed Kyoto is the anagram of Tokyo...

i loveeeee kyoto! it was especially pretty during autumn, wif the brown, orange and green leaves all blended in together. and you went to gion, you tgk geisha tak? actually bukan geisha, dia macam lower level of geisha but i can't remember what they were called. hihihi. geisha macam like the mature ones.

mahal kan japan? huhuhuhuhu. i think the postcards that i sent to my friends in tokyo cost me most! hihihi.
