Just An Information On Public Holiday

I had been looking at the calendar for next year...

Then i came to realise that the perfect time to go and travel by not taking so many leave days but managed to extend it more will be during the end of January until early February...how so?

Its because there are several public holidays nestled in between during this duration...

First up will be Chinese New Year that falls on 23 and 24 January respectively (Monday and Tuesday)...if one took 3 days of leaves (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) they can actually stretch it to 9 days...considering the weekends...and if that's not enough...the following week Federal day falls on Wednesday...another 2 days additional (Monday and Tuesday)...then voila...that's another additional 3 days of leaves on top of the 9 days for the week before...

And if one's boss is so nice...another two days right after the Federal day (Thursday and Friday) added to it...then you'll end up with another 6 days of leaves...hahaha...how so? its because Maulidur Rasul falls on Sunday and the holiday is replaced on the next day (Monday) and its concluded with Thaipusam holiday on the very next day (Tuesday)...

So in the end...one only take 7 days of leaves but end up with 18 straight days of leaves...hahaha...cool eh...minimising the impact of taking off days but managed to stretch it to the max...now i am starting to route out where do i want to go next during these days...

But of course i can't very well do the straight 18 days since i will be working on 1st February...but still...its a good long stretch of holiday if one are so lucky to got it...just sharing the information on public holiday...hehehe...
