Shop Till You Drop In Milan

Definitely one of the fashion capital of the world...

In Milan everybody are in style...we came across a grandma wearing a peacock's feather on her hat match up with pink wayfarer Ray Ban donned with black trench coat...and finished up with shocking red heels...and that is one of the few...so we are somehow under-dressed in Milan...hahaha...

Our hotel in Milan is just a walking distance to Milano Centrale...so its basically an easy access to the public transportation...as it is indeed a hub for all transportation in Milan namely the intercity trains...subways...trams and also the airport shuttle stops here...the one day pass cost about EUR6...

Milan is like any other metropolitan city...with its massive development but still it has its own charm...especially in shopping areas...hehehe...those who are going for the high end brands will find all their hearts' desire in Milan...all those high end brands are there for all to come and spent their hard earned cash...including us...hehehe...

Milan is a great city to walk around and see the sights and people...Corso Buenos Aires is a long stretch of shopping street...but it does not really cater for the high end brands...but there's plenty of shops along the stretch...if one was opting for those high end brands...take the train and go to Duomo...it is where the so-called fashion quadrangle situated...set of blocks roughly between Duomo Square, Cavour Square and San Babila Square...errrr...

We didn't go for those historic sites all that much as most of them are in the out skirt of out of Milan...we just spent our time strolling around the streets...went to the Duomo...Milan's main cathedral with its gothic architecture look...it was stunning...right across the street was Corso Vittorio Emanuele...where we started our shopaholics journey in the city...then we started to go around the fashion quadrangle...owh we had some fine time spending away the money...hahaha...

Halal food was not much a problem as we encountered quite a few halal food outlet...but mostly are restricted to kebab and falafel...errrrr...but there was this one time we were craving for some real italian dish...then we went and ordered a seafood spaghetti...my owh my...it comes in a huge portion...seriously...and it taste great...and also we had the cheese pizza...owh yummy...

Milan is now crossed out of my list...been there...and we had great time...i don't think that i want to go to Milan again any time soon...once is enough for the time being...coz if i ever considered of going there for the second time...it has to be in a few years time...when i have higher salary...or else i can't help myself...coz its really dangerous...as you can shop till you drop in Milan...
